Judicial Officers’ Bulletin

The Judicial Officers’ Bulletin informs judicial officers of current law and promotes consideration of a range of judicial issues. It aims to publish a balanced mix of practical and topical articles. Topics include judicial administration, forensic evidence and social context issues. Concise, timely summaries of major decisions of the High Court and NSW superior courts publish monthly. An annual subscription includes 11 digital issues, an annual table of cases/statutes and a comprehensive subject index.

 

To subscribe to future issues, please contact us. A yearly subscription for the Judicial Officers’ Bulletin (11 digital issues) is $322 incl GST; back issues $250 per volume. Subscriptions start on 1 January until 31 December. New subscribers commencing after 1 January will be on pro rata basis for the remaining period of the year.

Judicial Quarterly Review

Judicial Quarterly Review, formally The Judicial Review, is designed to inform judicial officers of current law and social context issues and to promote a range of practical and topical issues for consideration relevant to the judicial task. Each volume will consist of four issues to be published quarterly. Articles are derived from conference papers from the Judicial Commission’s education program, as well as from judicial education seminars delivered further afield, or from judicial officers or leading legal academics. Articles are published on the basis of their practical usefulness and relevance to a judicial readership. An annual subscription comprises four digital issues.

Obtaining publications

The Commission will:

  • accept cheques or money order by post or you can pay by EFT
  • all prices displayed are in Australian dollars and include postage and GST
  • any international payments by bank draft or cheque must be in Australian dollars and international orders will be calculated exclusive of GST
  • payment must be received before goods can be dispatched.
